STORY

With Majin Buu defeated, Goku has taken a completely new role as a…radish farmer?! Now, with Earth at peace, our heroes have settled into normal lives. But they can’t get too comfortable. When his search for the Saiyan God brings him to Earth, can Goku and his friends take on their strongest foe yet?

CHARACTERS

GOKU

The hero of Dragon Ball Super and the most powerful warrior on Earth, Goku is Earth’s true savior from Majin Buu. But nobody on Earth actually remembers that. Now, he has traded training for…radish farming?! With the world safe, Goku’s primary focus is his family—even though he’d much rather be training on King Kai’s planet. Will he be prepared to face the dangers lurking in the universe?

VEGETA

Vegeta is the powerful Saiyan Prince from Planet Vegeta. Once a brutal, evil warrior, he has become a righteous and powerful ally to Goku. Though he trains hard to become stronger than Goku, he also has other responsibilities…like a wife and son! Vegeta must face his reality and determine if his ties to Earth have made him softer or stronger.

GOHAN

Gohan is Goku and Chi-Chi’s eldest son. He is idealistic, good, and pure like his father. Having trained under Piccolo and Goku, Gohan realized his true strength and was able to reach Super Saiyan 2 during the intense battle with Cell. After saving Earth with his father and friends, Gohan goes from hero, to dutiful student and loving husband to Videl.

PICCOLO

Goku’s one-time archenemy, Piccolo is a Namek who was born on Earth after Goku killed King Piccolo, his father. Piccolo starts off fighting Goku to rule the world. But when the Saiyans arrived he joined forces with Goku, and their uneasy alliance soon turned into a close bond. Piccolo even trained Goku’s son, Gohan, and became a close friend and secondary father figure for the boy as he grew up.

JACO

A galactic patrolman with a tendency to panic easily. He was sent to Earth many years ago to look for Goku, but instead he encountered a young Bulma who repaired his broken space-ship. Since then, he has been friends with the Brief family and returns to Earth to warn Bulma about a dangerous enemy.

BEERUS

Beerus, an ancient and powerful God of Destruction, is easily capable of destroying planet Earth without breaking a sweat. He is, by far, the most dangerous opponent Goku and the Z Fighters have ever faced. Woe be unto any poor soul with the misfortune to annoy the mighty Beerus, for he is prone to chaotic rampages that reduce everything in his path to smoldering piles of rubble!

BULMA

A mechanical genius who can operate and fix anything, Bulma is still the same brash and pushy woman she’s always been since first meeting Goku—temper included. Mother to Trunks and wife to Vegeta, she has her hands full dealing with the two training-obsessed men in her life.

GOTEN

The youngest son of Goku and Chi-Chi, Goten is practically a mini version of his father with the same goofy and laid back attitude. He is best friends with Trunks and is the youngest person to ever go Super Saiyan. Goten looks up to his older brother, Gohan, though he doesn’t understand why his brother picks studying over training!

KRILLIN

Krillin is Goku’s best and most loyal friend. He has always been by the Saiyan’s side to help take on enemies of the world and is a strong fighter on his own accord. He is married to Android 18 and the proud father of Marron. Krillin can always be counted on to provide comic relief even in the most tense situations.

TRUNKS

The only son of Vegeta and Bulma. Trunks looks up to his father and wants to be just as strong as him. Best friends with Goten, the two train together and are constantly getting into trouble. While he wants more attention and affection from Vegeta, he respects his father’s desire to become stronger and tries to train alongside him when he is allowed.

WHIS

The dutiful attendant to the God of Destruction Beerus, Whis appears to be very indifferent and calm compared to the easily hot-headed god he serves. He tries to act as the voice of reason, but tends to give in to Beerus’ whims. Despite his relaxed personality, he is actually much stronger than he lets on.

FRIEZA

Frieza loves death and destruction—he is responsible for nearly wiping out the entire Saiyan race after destroying their home, Planet Vegeta. He has proven himself a powerful adversary against the Z Fighters but was finally defeated by Goku. After his death, Frieza spends more than a decade in hell before resurfacing to take his revenge.
